A family owned and operated seasonal distillery, Daftmill has released this special single farm estate whisky exclusively for UK independent whisky retailers (such as yours truly). 

Optic barley grown on the Daftmill farm has been malted and distilled in January and August of 2007, before maturing in 13 first fill ex bourbon barrels in the upper part of the Daftmill warehouse for 15 years. Bottled at 56.3%, this is a bold, characterful Daftmill, perfect for whisky connoisseurs.

About the distillery

Daftmill is a farm distillery, owned and operated by the Cuthbert family. A farm first and foremost, the distillery only operated in the farm's quiet periods; mid-summ and winter, sometimes producing as few as 100 casks per year. When not disilling, Francis Cuthbert looks after the estate, growing the malting barley used to make his highly sought-after Lowland whisky.
