Tomintoul Speyside Glenlivet Single Malt Scotch Whisky Aged 21 Years has been lovingly crafted, from a careful selection of the finest mature whisky from bourbon casks, each aged for at least twenty-one years.
The 21 opens up with ripe and pronounced aromas of soft nougat, pink grapefruit, boiled sweets, dried cranberry, soft cake and a herbal freshness. The gentle, soft palate has baked apple, honeycomb and orange peel flavours initially, developing into more complex flavours of danish pastries, turkish delight, white pepper and oaky spice. There's a hint of apple strudel on the finish, wrapped up in cedar and cinnamon spices which tingle the tongue very pleasantly.
